Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist - Retail Job Type Contract To Hire An established regional grocery store pharmacy in Minnesota is seeking a dedicated Retail Staff Pharmacist to join their well-supported team. This role offers an ongoing contract with a strong possibility to transition into a permanent position, allowing for career growth and stability.
Schedule and Hours:
Monday through
Friday:
9:00 AM to 6:00
PM Saturday:
9:00 AM to 1:00 PM Approximately 40 hours per week with some flexibility for relief coverage High-volume workload on Mondays, requiring comfort with a busier pace
Responsibilities:
Manage medication dispensing in a retail pharmacy environment averaging around 600 prescriptions weekly Utilize a newly installed robotic system to assist with workflow efficiency Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and other staff to ensure accurate and timely prescription fulfillment Provide excellent patient communication and counseling to support medication adherence and safety Use the EnterpriseRx order entry system to process prescriptions accurately (training available if needed)
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Retail pharmacy experience is essential Familiarity with EnterpriseRx preferred, or a willingness to learn quickly Valid Minnesota Pharmacist License or willingness to obtain one Strong communication and patient counseling skills Ability to work reliably and consistently in a team-oriented environment Interest in an ongoing assignment and openness to permanent placement This position provides an excellent opportunity to work in a modern, well-resourced pharmacy setting with committed technician support and advanced dispensing technology.
