Job Description
The Director of Pharmacy is responsible for coordinating, directing, and managing the hospital pharmacy according to local, state, and federal guidelines, as well as hospital and JCAHO standards. Supervises all position within the pharmacy department. Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy. Must hold a current license to practice pharmacy in the State of North Carolina. Must obtain annually a minimum of ten hours of Continuing Education pertaining to the practice of Pharmacy, from an approved provider. At least 5 years clinical experience and 3 years management experience required.
