Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract Join a small Critical Access Hospital seeking an experienced Pharmacy Manager for a 13-week assignment with the potential to transition into a permanent leadership position. This hands-on role combines pharmacy management responsibilities with clinical staffing duties, making it ideal for a pharmacist who enjoys both leadership and direct patient care in a close-knit hospital environment.

Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM No On-Call Requirements Critical Access Hospital (25 Beds)

Paragon and Pyxis Key Responsibilities Serve as the working Director of Pharmacy overseeing daily pharmacy operations Manage pharmacy workflow, staffing, and departmental activities Verify and process medication orders accurately Perform sterile compounding and related pharmacy services Supervise and support pharmacy technicians Ensure compliance with state, federal, and hospital pharmacy regulations Develop and maintain departmental policies and procedures Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and hospital leadership Support medication safety, quality improvement, and operational initiatives Experience Required Previous pharmacy management, supervisory, or Director of Pharmacy experience required Recent inpatient hospital pharmacy experience required Sterile compounding experience required Experience leading pharmacy staff and operations 340B program experience preferred Education & Licensure PharmD or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited program Active Nebraska Pharmacist license required Additional Qualifications Strong leadership and team-building skills Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Ability to balance management responsibilities with staffing duties Comfortable working in a smaller hospital environment Commitment to quality patient care and operational excellence or reach out for further inquiry: (713) 987-3641 Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled
