Job Description

Category Pharmacy•Pharmacy Technician Job Type Contract Support the daily operations of a busy retail pharmacy located in Montclair, NJ as a Pharmacy Technician skilled in using Rx30 pharmacy systems. This contract role offers the opportunity to contribute to patient care by efficiently managing prescription intake, processing, and dispensing within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Process and fill prescription orders accurately following pharmacy protocols. Assist pharmacists with medication preparation and inventory management. Provide friendly, professional customer service and answer patient inquiries. Maintain records and ensure compliance with established pharmacy procedures. Support the retail pharmacy team to ensure smooth workflow and patient satisfaction.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Proven experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a retail setting. Familiarity with Rx30 pharmacy software system. Strong communication skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure. Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification is preferred.
Schedule and Location:
Montclair, NJ location. Full-time preferred; part-time applicants considered.
