The position operates on a consistent schedule: Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 7 PM, and Saturdays from 9 AM to 3 PM, with Sundays off. This direct hire position is available as either an interim or permanent opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

Register with the state board of pharmacy as the supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge. Ensure the pharmacy complies with all federal, state, and board of pharmacy regulations as well as company policies. Manage all aspects of pharmacy operations, including budget, payroll, third-party administration, scheduling, and inventory management to optimize financial performance. Engage in business development activities within the store and the local community. Supervise pharmacy support personnel, conduct performance reviews, and provide guidance and training to pharmacy associates. Hold pharmacy staff accountable to regulatory and company policies while ensuring completion of all required training. Participate in patient-centered services such as immunizations, medication therapy management (MTM), and wellness programs. Provide counseling to patients and healthcare providers regarding medication use, potential interactions, and side effects; monitor patients to ensure compliance and therapeutic success. Maintain participation in continuous quality improvement initiatives focused on patient safety. Uphold a clean, organized, and professional work environment in compliance with legal and company standards. Complete state-required continuing education and perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Valid New York State Pharmacy License. Immunization Certification with confidence administering all vaccines. Recent experience in a pharmacy manager role is preferred.
