Key Responsibilities:
Accurately verify and dispense prescriptions Provide medication counseling and patient education to support optimal outcomes Collaborate with healthcare providers to enhance patient care Manage prescription processing, insurance coordination, and medication access issues Ensure compliance with state, federal, and organizational pharmacy regulations Contribute to pharmacy workflow optimization and quality improvement initiatives Foster a patient-centered environment focused on positive experiences
Qualifications:
Active New Jersey Pharmacist License required 1-2+ years' experience in community, retail, ambulatory care, or outpatient pharmacy settings Experience in community health, 340B programs, or care for underserved populations is highly preferred Bilingual English/Spanish skills strongly preferred Familiarity with PrimeRx, MicroMerchant, or similar pharmacy management systems is a plus Strong clinical knowledge with excellent communication and patient care skills Why This Opportunity?
