Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Manager Job Type Direct Hire A dynamic leadership opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Manager to oversee pharmacy operations in a well-established retail setting located in Ogdensburg, NY. This role is ideal for candidates seeking an interim or permanent position with a focus on regulatory compliance, team management, and business development.

PM Closed Sundays Key Responsibilities:
Register as the supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge with the state board of pharmacy. Ensure pharmacy compliance with all federal, state, and board of pharmacy regulations, as well as company policies. Manage all aspects of the pharmacy department, including budget, payroll, scheduling, inventory, and third-party administration to meet financial targets. Lead business development efforts within the store and local community. Supervise pharmacy support personnel, conducting performance evaluations and training. Maintain accountability for pharmacy associates' compliance with training requirements and regulatory standards. Provide patient-centered services such as immunizations, medication therapy management (MTM), and wellness programs. Counsel patients and healthcare providers on medication usage, interactions, and side effects; monitor patient health progress. Engage in continuous quality improvement initiatives to promote patient safety. Uphold a clean, organized workspace and maintain department facilities as per legal and company standards. Complete state-mandated continuing education requirements. Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
Valid New York State Pharmacy License. Immunization Certification with a demonstrated ability to administer all vaccine types. Recent experience in a pharmacy management role preferred.
