You will lead a dynamic healthcare team, ensuring compliance with regulations and fostering a culture of excellence in service. Prosource pharmacy is a retail pharmacy that specializes in Dermatology, Ophthalmology and Women's Health. The ideal candidate will understand what makes independent pharmacies different from other retail pharmacies. The candidate will also be independently motivated and ready for the challenges of growing a business. What you'll do Work with pharmacy staff to manage daily pharmacy operations, ensuring adherence to all regulatory requirements and standards of practice. Lead and mentor pharmacy staff, promoting professional development and teamwork. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to optimize medication therapy management. Oversee inventory management, ensuring the availability of medications and supplies while minimizing waste. A focus on efficiency and margins is a must. Utilize pharmacy software systems for efficient workflow and accurate record-keeping. Liberty software is the primary pharmacy software used. Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop individualized medication plans for patients, including those with complex needs. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations while maintaining patient confidentiality. Basic qualifications Willingness to engage in pharmacy improvement activities Strong knowledge of Pharmaceutical products, pharmacy systems and pharmacy payor processes. Quality Customer Service Skills that apply to patients, providers, provider office personnel, pharmaceutical representatives and all internal stake holders. Proficient in accessing and utilizing drug information for premium pharmaceutical products, new products and products in the development pipeline. Familiarity with pharmacy billing and claims processing. Preferred qualifications Previous experience in independent retail pharmacy Previous pharmacy experience with or without leadership roles Understanding of basic business principles to support the growth and development of the pharmacy.
