Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Manager Job Type Direct Hire A well-established retail pharmacy in Binghamton, NY, is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead their pharmacy team. This full-time, direct hire opportunity offers the chance to manage all aspects of pharmacy operations while driving profitable growth and delivering excellent customer service. Responsibilities include maintaining a collaborative relationship with the store operations team and pharmacy associates, ensuring all prescriptions meet state and federal regulations, and supporting script growth through clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM). The Pharmacy Manager will oversee inventory control, align performance objectives to key departmental metrics, and handle any customer issues with professionalism. This role involves supervising pharmacists, pharmacy support staff, and directing training and coaching initiatives to foster continuous development and improve operational efficiency. The Pharmacy Manager is also responsible for maintaining pharmacy security, managing daily tasks like cycle counts and will-calls, and keeping the department orderly and compliant.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree Current valid New York Pharmacist License Proven leadership experience in a retail pharmacy setting Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, inventory management, and regulatory compliance Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage staff and customers effectively
Schedule:
Full-time, approximately 62 hours bi-weekly Variable day and afternoon shifts Start date: ASAP This position offers a competitive salary range and the opportunity to develop your career in a dynamic retail environment.
