Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Manager Job Type Direct Hire A full-time Pharmacy Manager opportunity is available in a retail setting located in Binghamton, NY. This direct hire role offers variable day and afternoon shifts, with approximately 62 hours bi-weekly. The position requires a dynamic leader capable of managing daily pharmacy operations, coaching staff, and collaborating closely with store operations to ensure excellent customer service and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Foster collaborative relationships with the store team and engage pharmacy associates by communicating department and company strategies. Oversee the accuracy and compliance of all prescriptions by conducting Drug Utilization Reviews and Final Quality Assurance in line with state and federal regulations. Manage the pharmacy department's profitability and promote script growth through clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM). Collaborate with district management and staff to oversee inventory control and pharmaceutical stock ordering. Set and align performance goals according to key pharmacy metrics to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Provide leadership through supervision, training, coaching, and discipline of pharmacists and support staff. Address and resolve customer concerns to build trust and loyalty. Maintain pharmacy security and a clean, orderly department environment. Handle interactions with healthcare providers and reference resources to resolve prescription-related issues. Prioritize department tasks including cycle counts, inventory management, and customer will-calls.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree. Current New York State Pharmacist License. Previous experience managing retail pharmacy operations is preferred.
