The Raabe College of Pharmacy at Ohio Northern University is committed to preparing pharmacists for the ever-changing landscape of healthcare. We prepare pharmacists to serve as primary care providers, which reflects the needs of the underserved in our rural community. Successful candidates will help us meet this goal through managing and staffing across the ONU HealthWise Retail Pharmacy, call center, and mobile health clinics. The Director of ONU HealthWise Retail Pharmacy maintains and provides clinical health care and wellness services for the students, employees, and retirees of Ohio Northern University and members of the surrounding community. Tasks include the implementation and provision of healthcare services on and off campus, precepting pharmacy practice residents and student pharmacists, mentoring allied health students, and supervising personnel within the HealthWise Retail Pharmacy.
Job Description :
Principal Responsibilities:
Provide patient care to the students, employees and retirees of Ohio Northern University and surrounding communities, including but not limited to: Population health Disease state management Medication therapy management Preventive health services Diabetes self-management education Health and wellness screenings Point of care testing Remote patient monitoring Oversight of the ONU HealthWise Retail Pharmacy and Mobile Clinic, along with other clinical partnerships with regional employers, health systems, and health care providers. Oversees the business administration tasks of the ONU HealthWise Retail Pharmacy and Mobile Health Clinic, including preparing an annual budget for each division, conducting monthly financial monitoring and reporting (in conjunction with the Office of the Controller), and managing the claims reconciliation process. Serves on community, university, and college committees as assigned Teach within the didactic and/or experiential curriculum Serve as a preceptor for PharmD students in all facets of the program, in conjunction with the Office of Experiential Education and the academic programs dean Functions as the primary backup to the ONU HealthWise Retail Pharmacy Supervisor and is expected to perform all pharmacy operational and supervisory duties in the supervisor's absence, including working in the pharmacy as needed to maintain uninterrupted patient care and retail pharmacy operations.

Goal-oriented Minimum Qualifications:
PharmD degree is required. The individual must be eligible for licensure as a pharmacist in the State of Ohio. The individual should have a minimum of 3 years of experience working as a pharmacist or pharmacy residency training. The successful candidate will have experience supervising and/or precepting learners in a pharmacy operation and be proficient in directing, overseeing, and evaluating the work of technical and professional staff. Effectiveness in maintaining and establishing efficient relationships with the public, employees, departmental staff, and supervisors is a key trait. The willingness and potential to contribute to the research and service mission of the college is essential.
Preferred Qualifications:
