Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Manager Job Type Direct Hire This direct hire opportunity is for an Infusion Pharmacy Manager to lead daily operations and clinical services in a home infusion pharmacy setting. The role requires a strategic leader who ensures safe administration of intravenous therapies, manages sterile compounding processes, supervises pharmacy personnel, and maintains regulatory compliance—all while driving branch profitability.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Schedule flexibility required with administrative on-call duties
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily pharmacy operations, including sterile compounding, IV admixture preparation, dispensing, and inventory control Lead recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and on-call scheduling for pharmacists and technicians Ensure strict compliance with State Board of Pharmacy regulations and USP compounding standards Collaborate clinically with physicians and nursing staff to enhance patient outcomes in home-based intravenous therapies Contribute to branch budgeting, optimize workflows, and implement performance improvement initiatives
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited institution Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license in Ohio 5 to 7 years of clinical and operational experience in a home infusion or acute care pharmacy environment Strong expertise in IV admixture services and regulatory accreditation Demonstrated leadership abilities managing pharmacy teams Prior experience in infusion pharmacy is highly preferred; specialty pharmacy background considered Experience with CPR+ or CareTend systems is a strong asset This role offers the chance to impact patient care through expert management of infusion therapies and operational excellence.
