Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Manager Job Type Direct Hire Lead the operation of a retail pharmacy department with a focus on performance, customer service, and regulatory compliance. This direct hire opportunity is based in Sunbury, PA, offering a variable schedule that includes day and afternoon shifts with 10 to 12-hour shifts typically running from 8am to 9pm. The role requires managing a 69-hour bi-weekly schedule and starting as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities:
Foster strong collaboration with the store operations team to engage associates and communicate strategic objectives. Ensure prescription accuracy through Drug Utilization Review and final quality assurance in compliance with state and federal regulations. Drive business growth by implementing clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM). Monitor inventory and order pharmaceuticals to meet customer demand and optimize profitability. Align department performance with measurable objectives focusing on efficiency and effectiveness. Deliver exceptional customer service and healthcare counseling. Supervise, train, coach, and manage pharmacy staff including pharmacists and support personnel. Maintain pharmacy security and manage customer concerns to build trust and loyalty. Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify prescriptions and resolve issues. Keep the pharmacy environment clean, orderly, and well-maintained. Prioritize and complete essential pharmacy tasks including inventory cycle counts and managing will-calls.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor of Pharmacy or Pharm D degree. Current license to practice pharmacy in Pennsylvania. Current Pennsylvania Immunization License.
