Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Manager Job Type Direct Hire A full-time Pharmacy Manager position is available at a retail location in Williamsport, PA, offering the opportunity to lead and manage pharmacy operations in a dynamic environment. This direct hire role features a varied schedule including 10 to 12-hour shifts, typically between 8:00 AM and 9:00 PM, providing a flexible workday structure.
Key Responsibilities:
Foster a collaborative partnership with the store operations team to enhance associate engagement and communicate pharmacy and company strategies effectively. Ensure the accuracy and regulatory compliance of all prescriptions through thorough Drug Utilization Reviews and Final Quality Assurance measures. Manage the pharmacy department's profitability and prescription growth by implementing clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM). Maintain inventory control by tracking sales trends, ordering pharmaceutical stock, and optimizing product availability. Align departmental performance with measurable metrics focusing on operational efficiency and effectiveness. Deliver outstanding customer service, addressing medical inquiries and providing expert healthcare counseling. Supervise pharmacy staff, overseeing training, coaching, and discipline to foster a productive and compliant workplace. Maintain pharmacy security standards and manage customer issues to build trust and loyalty. Collaborate with healthcare providers and use reference materials to resolve prescription-related questions. Oversee department organization, cleanliness, and ongoing staff development initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor of Pharmacy or Pharm D degree. Current pharmacist license in Pennsylvania. Current Pennsylvania Immunization License. Proven leadership and management skills in a pharmacy setting. Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations and regulatory guidelines.
