Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Direct Hire A full-time Pharmacist position is available in a retail pharmacy setting located in Dingmans Ferry, PA. This direct hire role offers an opportunity to take ownership of pharmacy operations and contribute to a thriving healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with the store operations team to foster associate engagement and communicate department goals. Ensure prescription accuracy through thorough Drug Utilization Review and comply with state and federal pharmacy regulations. Manage the pharmacy department to drive profitability and script growth by implementing clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM). Work with pharmacy leadership to control inventory by tracking sales and ordering pharmaceuticals to meet customer demand. Align departmental performance with key measurable metrics focused on efficiency and effectiveness. Deliver excellent customer service by providing healthcare counseling and resolving inquiries. Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff, including training, coaching, and discipline. Maintain pharmacy security and cleanliness while prioritizing timely completion of tasks like inventory management and will-calls. Interact with healthcare providers and utilize resources to ensure prescription accuracy and issue resolution. Support ongoing staff development to enhance performance, reduce turnover, and manage labor costs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License Current Pennsylvania Immunization License Schedule:
Variable day and afternoon shifts Approximately 69 bi-weekly hours This permanent opportunity offers a competitive salary range of $59.50 to $71.50 per hour and the chance to work in a supportive retail pharmacy environment.
