Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly qualified Retail Pharmacist to join our healthcare team in Scranton, PA. Dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and medication management within a community pharmacy setting.
Immediate Needs:
Hours:
9am to 6pm Thursday, 7/2 Friday July 10 Thursday July 30 Friday July 31 Saturday August 1 Responsibilities Dispense prescription medications accurately while verifying dosage, interactions, and contraindications using pharmacy software and electronic health records systems. Provide comprehensive patient counseling on medication usage, potential side effects, and lifestyle modifications to optimize therapeutic outcomes. Conduct patient assessments for medication therapy management, including immunizations and chronic disease management. Manage inventory levels efficiently, including ordering medications, handling stock rotation, and maintaining proper storage conditions. Perform compounding medications with aseptic techniques when necessary, adhering to safety protocols and quality standards. Collaborate with healthcare providers on medical management plans for diverse populations such as pediatrics and critically ill patients. Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions, medication records, and clinical notes in pharmacy information systems (PIS) and electronic health record (EHR) systems. Support pharmacy technicians in daily operations while ensuring adherence to clinical confidentiality policies. Participate in ongoing professional development related to drug regulation updates, new therapies, and healthcare compliance standards.
Pay:
