Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Manager Job Type Direct Hire A full-time Pharmacy Manager opportunity is available in Burnham, PA, within a retail pharmacy setting. This direct hire role involves leading pharmacy operations to ensure efficient, compliant, and profitable service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with the store operations team to drive associate engagement and communicate pharmacy and company strategies. Oversee prescription accuracy and regulatory compliance by conducting Drug Utilization Reviews and final quality assurance. Manage inventory and pharmacy stock to meet customer demands and maximize profitability. Align department performance with key measurable metrics to optimize effectiveness and efficiency. Deliver excellent customer service, assisting with medical-related inquiries and providing healthcare counseling. Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff, including training, coaching, and discipline. Maintain pharmacy security protocols and handle customer issues to build trust and loyalty. Liaise with physicians and utilize reference materials to resolve prescription-related concerns. Ensure the pharmacy department is clean, orderly, and that staff receives ongoing development to improve performance and reduce turnover. Prioritize and complete pharmacy department tasks such as cycle counts, inventory management, and will-call handling.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree. Current valid Pennsylvania Pharmacist License. Current Pennsylvania Immunization License. Experience managing retail pharmacy operations is highly desired.
Schedule:
Variable day and afternoon shifts. 10-hour shifts (typically 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM). 11-hour shifts (typically 9:00 AM - 8:00 PM). 12-hour shifts (either 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM). Workweek totals approximately 62 hours bi-weekly. This direct hire position offers a competitive salary range and the chance to lead a dynamic pharmacy team committed to excellent patient care.
