Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Manager Job Type Direct Hire A full-time Pharmacy Manager position is available at a retail location in Burnham, Pennsylvania. This direct hire role offers a variable schedule with shifts ranging from 10 to 12 hours, typically between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m.
Key Responsibilities:
Foster a collaborative partnership with store operations and pharmacy staff, promoting engagement and clear communication of business strategies. Ensure prescription accuracy and compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations through diligent review processes. Drive business growth by implementing clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM). Manage inventory, analyze weekly sales, and coordinate pharmaceutical stock orders to meet demand and maximize profitability. Align departmental performance with key metrics to improve efficiency and customer service quality. Provide leadership by supervising pharmacists and support staff, conducting training, coaching, and managing performance. Address customer concerns effectively to maintain trust and loyalty. Liaise with physicians and utilize reference resources to resolve prescription-related issues. Maintain pharmacy cleanliness, organization, and security. Oversee daily pharmacy operations including cycle counts, inventory management, and timely processing of will-calls.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree. Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist License. Current Pennsylvania Immunization License. Strong leadership and communication skills. Experience in retail pharmacy management preferred.
Schedule:
10-hour shifts: typically 9 a.m. - 7 p.m. 11-hour shifts: typically 9 a.m. - 8 p.m. 12-hour shifts: either 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. or 9 a.m. - 9 p.m. Variable day and afternoon shifts.
Location:
Burnham, Pennsylvania (University Park metro area) This opportunity offers a competitive salary range from $59.50 to $71.50 per hour, with potential for higher compensation based on experience.
