Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Manager Job Type Direct Hire An opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead and oversee operations within a retail pharmacy setting located in Mifflinburg, PA. This direct hire role offers a dynamic schedule with variable day and afternoon shifts, including 10- to 12-hour shifts typically between 8 AM and 9 PM, totaling approximately 62 hours bi-weekly. Responsibilities include maintaining a strong collaborative relationship with the store operations team to drive associate engagement and communicate business strategies effectively. The Pharmacy Manager will ensure the accuracy of prescriptions through thorough Drug Utilization Reviews and Final Quality Assurance consistent with state and federal Board of Pharmacy regulations. Key duties encompass managing the pharmacy department to foster business growth by promoting clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM) when available. Inventory control will be a significant focus, requiring coordination with the pharmacy district manager and staff to track sales and manage stock effectively for customer satisfaction and profitability. Additional responsibilities include aligning performance objectives with measurable department metrics, providing outstanding healthcare counseling, supervising pharmacists and pharmacy associates, and driving staff development through training, coaching, and performance management. The manager will also maintain pharmacy security, resolve customer concerns to build loyalty, liaise with physicians for prescription clarifications, and ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of the department.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Bachelor of Pharmacy or Pharm.
