Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Manager Job Type Direct Hire A retail pharmacy leader is needed to oversee daily operations, staff management, and business growth at a well-established pharmacy location in Mifflinburg, PA. This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity offering a dynamic schedule with varied shift lengths typically ranging from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm. The role requires strong clinical, operational, and leadership skills to ensure exceptional patient care and drive departmental success.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with store operations teams and pharmacy associates to align department goals with overall business strategy, fostering engagement and communication. Ensure prescription accuracy and compliance by conducting Drug Utilization Reviews and quality assurance processes in accordance with federal and state regulations. Manage inventory levels and pharmaceutical stock ordering to meet customer demand while maximizing profitability. Lead performance management by aligning objectives with key department metrics to optimize efficiency and effectiveness. Provide superior customer service, addressing medical inquiries and delivering healthcare counseling. Supervise pharmacists and pharmacy staff, overseeing their training, coaching, and development. Maintain pharmacy security protocols and a clean, organized workspace. Resolve customer issues to enhance trust and loyalty. Liaise with physicians and use reference materials to clarify and resolve prescription-related questions. Prioritize and ensure timely completion of critical pharmacy tasks including cycle counts and will-call management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree. Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist License. Current Pennsylvania Immunization License. Demonstrated leadership experience in a retail pharmacy setting.

Mifflinburg, PA Typical shifts: 10, 11, or 12 hours (e.g., 9am-7pm, 9am-8pm, or 8am-8pm) Variable day/afternoon shifts totaling approximately 62 hours bi-weekly This direct hire position offers the chance to lead a pharmacy team and influence patient care in a supportive retail environment.
