  • Pharmacy Manager Job Type Direct Hire Pharmacy leadership role available with direct hire opportunity in Williamsport, PA, within a retail pharmacy setting dedicated to delivering exceptional healthcare and customer service.
This position offers a dynamic schedule featuring 10 to 12-hour shifts varying between day and afternoon hours to provide work-life balance and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Foster a collaborative relationship with store operations to engage pharmacy associates and communicate departmental goals aligned with company strategy. Ensure accuracy and compliance in prescription processing through thorough Drug Utilization Review and final quality assurance, adhering to federal and state pharmacy regulations. Drive business growth and profitability by promoting clinical programs including immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM). Manage inventory effectively by tracking sales and ordering pharmaceutical stock to meet customer needs and maximize profits. Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff, overseeing training, coaching, performance management, and disciplinary actions. Maintain pharmacy security and handle customer inquiries, issues, and complaints to build trust and satisfaction. Collaborate with healthcare providers and use reference materials to resolve prescription-related concerns. Uphold pharmacy cleanliness and organization and prioritize tasks such as cycle counts, inventory control, and customer will-calls.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree. Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist License. Current Pennsylvania Immunization License. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse pharmacy team. Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Schedule:
Bi-weekly hours totaling 69. Shift options include 10-hour shifts (9 am
  • 7 pm), 11-hour shifts (9 am
  • 8 pm), and 12-hour shifts (8 am
  • 8 pm or 9 am
  • 9 pm).
Variable day and afternoon shifts. This direct hire position offers the chance to lead a pharmacy department with robust support and growth potential.
