Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Manager Job Type Direct Hire A full-time Pharmacy Manager position is open at a retail location in Williamsport, PA, offering a direct hire opportunity with an immediate start date. This role involves leadership responsibilities within the pharmacy department and requires strong collaboration with store operations teams to drive associate engagement and implement department and company strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain collaborative relationships with store operations and communicate strategy to pharmacy staff. Ensure accuracy and compliance in all prescription dispensing by conducting Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance, adhering to state and federal regulations. Manage the pharmacy department to build a profitable business and grow prescription volume through clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM). Work with District Manager and pharmacy staff to control inventory, track weekly sales, and order pharmaceutical stock. Align performance objectives with key department metrics to maximize efficiency and effectiveness. Deliver excellent customer service by addressing medical-related queries and offering healthcare counseling. Supervise pharmacists, associates, and support staff, overseeing training, coaching, and discipline. Maintain pharmacy security and handle customer issues to foster trust and loyalty. Liaise with physicians and utilize reference materials to address prescription-related concerns. Keep the pharmacy organized and clean; prioritize and complete tasks like cycle counts and inventory management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree. Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License. Current Pennsylvania Immunization License. Experience in retail pharmacy management is highly desirable.
Schedule:
Approximately 69 hours bi-weekly. Variable shifts including 10, 11, and 12-hour shifts, typically between 8:00 AM and 9:00 PM.
