05/31/19 POSITION SUMMARY The Pharmacy Manager is a working supervisor, providing professional pharmacy services to CCHS patients in addition to supervising the general operations of the Pharmacy Department.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Delegates to pharmacy staff members the filling of prescriptions and administrative tasks, and then supervises their completion and accuracy. Counsels patients and maintains computerized confidential patient records of drug therapies to prevent harmful drug interaction. Answers patients questions and provides information on medications and health. Manages cash, maintains financial records, and maintains and reports staff payroll information. Serves as liaison between patients and medical providers in order to catch and prevent prescription errors. Maintains inventory of supplies and places orders, as appropriate. Ensures the Pharmacy meets and maintains federal and state requirements and regulations. Performs other duties, as required.

Degree from
School of Pharmacy Experience :
Minimum of three years working in a community retail pharmacy.
Licenses or Certifications :
Doctor of Pharmacy, Tennessee pharmacy license, BLS Mental Requirements Level 1
