Category Pharmacy-Director of Pharmacy Job Type Contract This contract position seeks an experienced Interim Director of Pharmacy with Pharmacy-in-Charge (PIC) licensure to lead pharmacy operations in a hospital setting. Based in Nacogdoches, TX, this role focuses on inpatient acute care pharmacy management and offers an opportunity to oversee a dedicated pharmacy team while ensuring compliance and quality patient care standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and administrative oversight as Director of Pharmacy Manage staffing and daily operations for inpatient acute care pharmacy services Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain quality assurance programs Coordinate and deliver pharmacy inservices and staff education Utilize Cerner/Siemens order entry system and Omnicell automation technology Foster collaboration across pharmacy clinical and support staff
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Current licensure in Texas, including Pharmacy-in-Charge (PIC) Proven inpatient acute care management experience Strong knowledge of regulatory standards and quality control processes Familiarity with Cerner/Siemens order entry and Omnicell automation preferred Effective leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Schedule & Location:
Monday through Friday day shift, 40 hours per week No weekend or on-call requirements Contract duration: Beginning August 3rd, for a minimum of 3 months
