Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Manager Job Type Contract An urgent opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Manager to serve as the Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) at a newly opened behavioral hospital in Lynchburg, VA. This hospital is a joint venture between two respected healthcare organizations, offering a unique environment in behavioral health pharmacy management. The position starts as soon as possible for a 13-week assignment, with potential for extension or temp-to-hire.

Monday to Friday Day shifts
Responsibilities:
Oversee all pharmacy operations within the behavioral hospital. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. Manage medication distribution and inventory control. Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient medication therapies. Serve as the Pharmacist-in-Charge, responsible for maintaining pharmacy standards and policies. Support hospital administration in clinical and operational pharmacy activities. Qualifications /
Desired Experience:
Licensed Pharmacist with Pharmacy Manager experience. Experience working in a hospital setting, preferably behavioral health. Strong leadership and organizational skills. Ability to manage pharmacy operations independently. Knowledge of regulatory requirements affecting hospital pharmacies.
