Monday to Friday 8:30 AM to 5:00

Key Responsibilities:

Process and fill prescriptions while handling insurance adjudications and resolving rejections. Prepare, package, and label medications for pharmacist verification. Manage data entry, prescription paperwork, and effective communication with patients and prescribers. Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts, restocking, and expiration checks. Assist with medication returns, quarantines, and destruction processes. Cross-train in various pharmacy functions to support department needs. Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA, Medicare/Medicaid, and insurance regulations.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required. Valid PTCB certification and active VA pharmacy technician license in good standing. Minimum of 2 years of pharmacy technician experience with a focus on retail operations; call center experience is a plus. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and comfortable making phone calls. Excellent multitasking, organizational, time management, and communication skills.
