Category Pharmacy-Director of Pharmacy Job Type Direct Hire This leadership role directs comprehensive pharmaceutical services in a hospital setting, ensuring high-quality clinical pharmacy operations and regulatory compliance. The Director of Pharmacy will manage departmental objectives, oversee staff development, and collaborate with external agencies to maintain and enhance service delivery.

Full Time Key Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate daily pharmacy operations through supervision of department supervisors and staff, fostering productivity and quality improvements. Ensure staff receive ongoing training, performance feedback, and support to meet job requirements and departmental goals. Develop and implement pharmacy service objectives, maintaining compliance with Joint Commission, DOH, Board of Pharmacy, and other regulatory standards. Manage budgeting processes, including capital equipment and operational expense recommendations alongside revenue projections. Serve as an active participant on hospital committees, contributing to policy development and interdisciplinary collaboration. Oversee documentation systems for authorized prescribers and pharmaceutical supply requisitioning. Perform duties consistent with those of a Staff Pharmacist when required.
Qualifications:
Current pharmacist licensure in the state. Minimum of three years hospital pharmacy experience within the past five years. Proven capability to efficiently oversee pharmacy operations within a healthcare organization.
Preferred Experience:
At least one year in a managerial or leadership position within pharmacy services.
