This direct hire position is based at a prominent healthcare facility in Capitol Hill, offering a chance to contribute to high-quality inpatient pharmacy services.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all aspects of inpatient pharmacy operations to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant medication use. Develop and implement operational strategies to improve pharmacy workflows and patient outcomes. Supervise pharmacy staff, including pharmacists and technicians, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment. Coordinate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize medication management and address clinical needs. Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and internal policies. Manage budgetary and resource allocation to maximize operational efficiency.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Proven experience as a Pharmacy Manager with significant exposure to inpatient pharmacy operations. Strong leadership skills and ability to manage multidisciplinary teams effectively. In-depth knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and best practices. Experience in process improvement and operational strategy implementation. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Active pharmacy license preferred.
