•Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract A specialty pharmacy in La Crosse, WI is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to fill a 1-year contract position supporting long-term care and retail pharmacy operations. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong dispensing skills and the ability to manage patient care within a busy pharmacy setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to patients in both retail and long-term care settings Conduct medication therapy management (MTM) and patient counseling Administer immunizations as certified Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication use and patient outcomes Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and policies
Qualifications and Experience:
Current Wisconsin Pharmacist License (Act 10 candidates considered) PharmD degree preferred; MTM certification a plus Immunization certification required CPR certification required Experience in retail or specialty pharmacy settings highly desirable Strong communication and organizational skills
