Job Description
Overview Responsible for Pharmacy duties, ensuring accuracy of medicine handling as well as an efficient workflow in providing patients with Pharmacy needs are of a consistently high priority. Responsibilities Helps establish and implement cost effective, results based, and professionally managed programs and innovative initiatives for the Pharmacy area, under direct supervision. Practices analyzing and filling patients' prescriptions. Learns how to run tests on patients, take their blood pressure and administer flu shots. Measures the correct amount of medication and collects payment from customers. Coaches more junior colleagues in techniques, processes, and responsibilities. Understands and applies the organization's mission, vision, and core values of improving health and promoting well-being in day-to-day interactions with Pharmacy team. Qualifications Enrolled in Pharmacy program.
