ORGANIZATIONAL SUMMARY
Reports to:
Chief Operations Officer and Supervising Pharmacists Key Working Relationships:
Practitioners, Medical Support Staff and Administration Primary Customer Groups:
External Practitioners, Patients and their family members, and
Vendors/Customers Aged of Patients Served:
All
STANDARD OF CONDUCTS
Appearance:
Maintain a professional personal appearance and abide by the dress code while working and representing IFHS. Demonstrate actions that support maintaining a positive and clean facility appearance.

Acknowledge customers; smile and maintain eye contact as appropriate. Be kind, sympathetic, and helpful. Act in a professional manner at all times.

JOB SUMMARY
Schedule :
Pharmacy hours are Monday-Friday 8:30am to 6:00pm with one hour closure for lunch (i.e. 12:00pm to 1:00pm) and Saturday 8:30am to 1:00pm.
Duties :
After orientation and training, the Pharmacy Technician will;
Prescription Processing:
Receive, review, and enter prescription data into pharmacy software
Dispensing:
Retrieve, count, measure, and label medications prior to final pharmacist review
Inventory Management:
Unpack shipments, stock shelves, track expiration dates, and process wholesaler orders
Patient Interaction:
Answer phones, assist customers at the counter, and handle third-party insurance billing Ensures proper storage and temperature monitoring of medications Participate and assist in staff meetings, department trainings, and community outreach events as needed Other duties as assigned by the Chief Operations Officer, CEO or Supervising Pharmacist
