VCM Pharmacy Operationsis seeking Pharmacy Technicians located in the surrounding areas of Cullman, AL. Responsibilities Able to work under the direction of a supervisorExperience working Controlled Drugs (Narcotics) room a plusMaintains floor stock, restocking, removal of expired medicationsRotate stock of medication areas to assure quality controlsPrepack for floor bulk prescribed medicationsPackage fill and ship medicationsResponsible for pharmacy standards, maintained and adherence policiesTeam player and collaborate with others to support the goals of the pharmacyEnter new orders for staff pharmacist reviewMaintain up-to-date, accurate customer informationGenerate labels for dispensingAnswer phones and respond to order inquiriesClarify orders as neededTriage incoming faxesComplete any other task assigned by the supervisor Qualifications Registered AL Pharmacy Technician requiredCertified AL Pharmacy Technician preferred Previous pharmacy experience preferred Previous data entry experience preferredMust be reliable and execute multiple tasks assignedGood organizational skills and detail orientedAbility to physically perform light liftingKnowledge of brand name and generic medicationsAbility to work independently, accurately, and efficientlyKnowledge of SIG-CodesQuick typing skillsComputer literate, knowledge of Frameworks LTC system, PLUS Shift 2:30pm-11:00pm with rotating weekends.
