Job Description

We are looking for a friendly and goal-oriented pharmacy clerk/technician to work in a busy, fast-paced independent pharmacy. Do not apply if you can't pass a drug test or have past drug charges. Applicant can not have a Medical Marijuana Card and work in a pharmacy per Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy. •

Be able to work independently and as a team Be able to learn quickly, think critically and adapt to change Be detail-oriented and comfortable with technology Be able to use a POS system for customer sales and account management Be able to comply with HIPAA and state regulations
JOB DESCRIPTION
Works under direct supervision of pharmacist(s) and operations manager(s) Obtains and inputs patient information Obtains patients' clinical and prescription coverage information Uses pharmacy software to input patient and order information Provides quality service to patients and other healthcare providers Assists with patient in-take for seasonal and other vaccines Assists with managing OTC inventory as directed Performs additional related duties as assigned Preference will be given to applicants with significant customer service, management and/or healthcare experience, but it is NOT a requirement.
