DUTIES- Provide exceptional customer service by interacting with customers in a professional and friendly manner
- Support the pharmacist in various duties, as directed, including answering calls, ringing up customers, and performing prior authorizations
- Perform intake functions for prescriptions and patient demographic information
- When necessary, safely and efficiently operate a company-owned delivery vehicle to transport prescriptions to customers
- Work with pharmacy staff to create delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or issues encountered
EXPERIENCE
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Familiarity with Liberty Pharmacy Software (now Pharmacy One) a plus
- Clean driving record
- Familiarity with route driving and navigating using GPS systems or maps
REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent communication skills
- Compassion and the desire to help people
- Either currently holding an Arkansas Pharmacy Technician certification or eligible to receive one within the first 30 days of employment
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
