Certified Pharmacy Technician Elements Compounding Pharmacy Mesa, AZ Job Details Full-time $22 - $26 an hour 8 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance 401(k) matching Qualifications Computer operation Computer literacy Basic math Attention to detail Organizational skills Process management Full Job Description Job Description Elements Compounding Pharmacy is looking for a detail-oriented, organized, and growth-minded team member to join our pharmacy operations team.

This is not a traditional retail pharmacy position.

Our pharmacy relies on structured workflows, clear communication, strong documentation, and continuous improvement to serve patients, prescribers, and veterinary partners. We are looking for someone who enjoys learning complex processes, bringing order to details, and developing expertise over time.

Pharmacy experience is helpful, but not the only thing we value. We are more interested in reliability, organization, coachability, written communication, and the ability to master a structured process.

New team members are trained systematically and are expected to demonstrate mastery of each area before taking on additional responsibilities. What You'll Do Responsibilities may include: Prescription intake and workflow processing Documentation and record management Coordination of prescription movement throughout the pharmacy Follow-up on missing information, workflow delays, and operational details Patient and prescriber communication Working with pharmacists and technicians to help prescriptions move accurately and efficiently Supporting quality, compliance, and operational improvement activities Training is provided, but progression is earned through accuracy, consistency, judgment, and reliability. What We're Looking For Strong attention to detail Excellent organizational skills Reliability and personal accountability Ability to learn structured processes Clear written and verbal communication Comfort working with computers and technology Basic math and problem-solving ability Professionalism and maturity Willingness to accept coaching and feedback Registration / License Requirement Active Arizona Pharmacy Technician License or Pharmacy Technician Trainee Registration is strongly preferred.

Candidates without active Arizona registration may still be considered, but employment in technician duties cannot begin until active/open status is verified. You'll Thrive Here If You Enjoy learning how systems work Take pride in accuracy, consistency, and follow-through Can balance quality with productivity Like bringing order to complexity Stay calm when priorities compete for attention Notice when something is unclear and ask before guessing Prefer solving problems rather than passing them along Want to build expertise and responsibility over time This Role Is Not a Good Fit If You Prefer highly informal or unstructured workplaces Resist coaching, feedback, or close training Frequently cut corners Dislike documentation Become easily overwhelmed when multiple priorities need to be managed Prefer to only complete assigned tasks without understanding the larger workflow Compensation Starting compensation typically ranges from $22-$26 per hour depending on experience, qualifications, registration status, and demonstrated fit for the role.

Compensation growth is tied to performance, mastery of responsibilities, reliability, and increasing contribution to the organization. Growth Opportunities We believe in developing strong people from within.

Strong performers may expand into additional responsibilities involving workflow coordination, operations, quality systems, training, and specialized pharmacy functions.

If you are interested in building real expertise, taking ownership, and growing with an organization committed to excellence, we would like to hear from you.
