Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Contract To Hire This opportunity is for an experienced Pharmacy Technician to support retail pharmacy operations in Mesa, AZ. The position is offered as a 13-week contract to hire, providing a pathway to permanent employment.

1st shift: 8:30am - 5:30pm, Monday to

Mesa, AZ Role Overview:
Working alongside one pharmacist and a team of three technicians, you will handle a daily script volume of under 100 prescriptions. You will perform essential pharmacy duties including data entry, calling patients and physician offices, and filling and dispensing medications while ensuring patient safety by verifying allergies. Delivering exceptional customer service and addressing patient inquiries and concerns with professionalism is critical.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately enter prescription data and process orders using the Pioneer Rx system Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers Fill and dispense medications as prescribed, with careful allergy verification Respond to patient questions and resolve issues according to policies Maintain a focus on providing excellent customer service
Qualifications:
Active and clear Pharmacy Technician license in Arizona Minimum of 2 years recent retail pharmacy experience This role is ideal for those with solid retail pharmacy skills seeking a stable opportunity with potential for longer-term employment.
