Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Direct Hire Contribute to efficient medication delivery and patient support as an Order Entry Pharmacy Technician in a dynamic, growing healthcare environment. This direct hire opportunity is based in Phoenix, AZ, offering a Monday to Friday shift from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM (post-training), with a required rotation of weekend shifts.
Responsibilities:
Accurately enter new and refill medication orders into the pharmacy software system Monitor and track medication delivery status Provide exceptional telephonic customer service, consulting with patients, providers, and pharmacies Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate medication fulfillment Review reports to identify and resolve medication order concerns promptly Support pharmacy run times and exceed customer and colleague expectations
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid Arizona Pharmacy Technician license and PTCB certification required Prior experience in a Long-Term Care (LTC) pharmacy setting strongly preferred Proficient in data entry with strong attention to detail Excellent verbal, written, and phone communication skills Dependable, trustworthy, and customer service oriented Demonstrates strong problem-solving abilities and is a self-starter Flexible, adaptable, and able to work independently as well as part of a team This position is perfect for retail pharmacy technicians seeking to transition into a long-term care setting while developing their skills in a supportive, fast-paced environment.
