Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented compounding Pharmacy Technician to join us. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting pharmacists in delivering high-quality patient care within both community and compounding setting. This position requires a strong understanding of compounding techniques and the ability to create right dosage. Responsibilities Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing hormones, compounded cream/troche/sr capsules Maintain accurate patient records and medication profiles to ensure proper medication administration. Utilize aseptic techniques to prepare sterile products and ensure compliance with safety protocols. Provide exceptional patient service by answering inquiries and addressing concerns regarding medications and treatment plans. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care outcomes. Monitor inventory levels, manage stock, and assist in ordering supplies as needed. Participate in training programs to enhance skills related to pharmacy operations and patient care. Skills Proficiency in aseptic technique and knowledge of medication administration practices. Familiarity with pharmacy operations, particularly in an acute care or hospital environment. Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to pharmaceuticals and patient care. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare team members. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in a busy pharmacy setting.
