Job Description
Position Summary Under the supervision of an Outpatient Pharmacy Manager or supervision of a registered pharmacist, the Outpatient Pharmacy Technician supports safe, timely, and efficient medication preparation, dispensing, and customer service for the outpatient pharmacy of Mt. Graham Regional Medical Center. Responsibilities include prescription intake and processing, third-party billing support, inventory management, point-of-sale transactions, medication preparation and labeling, customer assistance, and maintenance of medication storage systems. The Outpatient Pharmacy Technician also supports 340B program operations through accurate prescription processing, inventory handling, documentation, and compliance with applicable hospital, state, federal, and program requirements.
