Civic Center Pharmacy is currently looking for a self-motivated and driven individual to add to our Sterile and Non-Sterile Pharmacy Technician team. About Our Company Civic Center Pharmacy has been compounding custom sterile and non-sterile medications since 1996. Our patient-focused philosophy has facilitated our growth in size and reputation. Our family of employees provides high-quality, efficacious, and affordable compound medications for patients and their medical providers. Responsibilities:
  • Compounding technician shall have knowledge of and follow applicable Standard Operating Procedures
  • Compounding technician will be responsible for knowledge of USP guidelines
  • Sterile compounding may include but is not limited to the compounding of injectables and ophthalmic drops
  • Standards for accuracy, pharmaceutical elegance and potency shall be consistently met
  • Compounds, fills, and labels compounded prescriptions
  • Monitors inventory levels for re-order of depleting inventory or expiring chemicals, and receives additional inventory
  • Performs daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning using appropriate disinfectants and techniques
  • Performs environmental monitoring and validation testing according to policies and procedures Minimum Requirements for the Pharmacy Technician opportunity:
  • High School Diploma
  • PTCB Certification
  • Licensed as a Pharmacy Technician with the Arizona State Board of Pharmacy
  • Must be friendly, hardworking, adaptable, and proactive
