Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Contract Support a nonprofit 100-bed hospital as a Pharmacy Technician covering a maternity leave. This contract role begins mid-May and extends for at least 13 weeks, with potential for permanent placement. The ideal candidate will have a valid Arizona Pharmacy Technician license and solid inpatient pharmacy experience. Two schedule options are available to accommodate different preferences: Option 1: 7 consecutive nights on, followed by 7 nights off (night shift) Option 2: Four 10-hour shifts, 10:00 am to 8:30 pm

Key Responsibilities:

Assist pharmacists with medication preparation and dispensing within the inpatient setting Utilize Allscripts and Omnicell systems for medication orders and inventory management Ensure accuracy and compliance with pharmacy protocols and safety standards Collaborate with healthcare staff to support patient medication needs

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Licensed Pharmacy Technician in Arizona Experience working in an inpatient hospital pharmacy environment Proficient with Allscripts and Omnicell or similar pharmacy software systems Flexibility regarding schedule to meet hospital coverage needs
