You'll love it here! The Float Oncology Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for the preparation, distribution, and control of sterile injectable medications. Roles and responsibilities include chemotherapy and non-chemotherapy sterile compounding, record keeping (refrigerator temperature logs and hood cleaning), drug distribution and maintaining inventory. All duties are performed independently by the technician under the supervision of a Pharmacist. QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications We are seeking a dedicated clinical professional with: CA Pharmacy Technician license- required Ability to compound chemotherapy utilizing departmental guidelines for the preparation/distribution of cytotoxic agents
- required At least 1 year of IV sterile compounding pharmacy experience
- required Skill in preparing intravenous solutions using aseptic technique.
