The ideal candidate will assist the Pharmacist in stock work, preparation of unit dose packages, preparing doses for refilling unit orders and recordkeeping. Responsibilities Effectively produces work on a schedule that allows the Pharmacist to complete timely scheduled delivery of medications. Regularly adjusts to variable work load imposed by the needs of the hospital as the census and medications change. Accurately checks in drug orders from suppliers and confirms that all drugs ordered and charged are received. Assists the Pharmacist in checking all supplies, including preparing labels, packaging, and recording with accuracy. Performs additional duties and responsibilities as position requires. Qualifications Current, valid, CA Pharmacy Technician license. Basic computer skills •Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available, including but not limited to shift differential and other special pay practices, etc. The posted compensation for the position is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting.
