Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Contract A 100-bed hospital in Truckee, CA, is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician with a valid California license to support their pharmacy operations. This 13-week contract position offers a stable schedule of four 10-hour day shifts per week and an ASAP start date. The ideal candidate will bring hospital pharmacy experience, including intravenous (IV) compounding skills, and be proficient with pharmacy technologies such as EPIC and Pyxis.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform sterile and non-sterile compounding tasks following established protocols Restock Automated Dispensing Cabinets (ADCs) accurately and efficiently Manage incoming pharmacy calls, providing timely assistance to clinical staff Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare team to support inpatient medication distribution and safety

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Valid California Pharmacy Technician license required Previous hospital pharmacy experience strongly preferred Demonstrated experience with sterile IV compounding Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records and Pyxis medication dispensing systems Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
