Job Description

Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Travel Experience breathtaking mountain scenery and the vibrant lifestyle of Kings Beach, CA, while advancing your career in nuclear medicine. Broadening your scope as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist here means gaining valuable exposure to progressive imaging practices, leadership styles, and patient populations—all while expanding your resume in an acclaimed healthcare setting.
Schedule:
Monday - Thursday, 10-hour shifts (typically beginning at 6:00-6:30am) 13-week assignment with high likelihood of extension No nights, weekends, or on-call duties
Key Responsibilities:
Perform outpatient nuclear medicine procedures (90%), with some inpatient coverage (10%) Manage 2-5 patients daily, including pre-procedure injections of radioisotopes (Gallbladder function) Conduct myocardial perfusion studies, stress testing, and other nuclear medicine protocols Utilize Siemens e CAM and, if possible, PET/CT technology Follow all safety procedures and documentation standards using
EPIC EMR
Regularly interface with radiology systems such as MIM, iMed Scheduling, Keane Radiology, Philips iSite PACS, or similar platforms
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years' experience in nuclear medicine technology Experience with PET/CT highly valued Familiarity with mobile imaging units a plus Strong preference for candidates with proficiency in MIM, iMed Scheduling, Keane Radiology System, or Philips iSite Enterprise PACS Certified by ARRT or NMTCB; meets California AB 2720 for PET/CT Current BLS certification required
