You will be responsible for performing tasks that ensure drugs are handled and stored properly, as well as preparing documents for patients. As a Pharmacy Technician, you should have good computer skills and the ability to multitask. You will be expected to work efficiently, accurately and effectively to ensure product quality. The goal is to assist our pharmacists with their routine tasks in a friendly and professional manner.

Responsibilities:

Respond to a range of prescriptions and enquiries from customers, using a comprehensive knowledge of pharmacology and pharmacy law. Prepare, weigh and mix prescription and over-the-counter medicines, using relevant equipment. Ensure all medicines are stored in line with government regulations. Assist with the preparation of sterile drugs for use in hospitals. Advise customers on medication and possible side effects. Perform administrative tasks like filing, inventory management and other clerical work as required. Support the team with additional duties when necessary (e.g. assisting with dispensing/assisting or covering another team member).
