Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Contract This opportunity is for pharmacy technicians to support a closed-door mail order pharmacy specializing in long-term care (LTC) within a well-established operation open from 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM. The role offers an engaging environment where both experienced and newly licensed technicians can contribute and grow within a contract-to-perm setting.

Contract (with potential for permanent placement)

Schedule:

Day shift and afternoon shift positions available Must be willing to work rotating weekends (Saturday and Sunday)

Key Responsibilities:

Support pharmacy operations including order fulfillment and medication preparation Provide assistance in maintaining efficient workflow in a fast-paced mail order pharmacy Collaborate with sterile compounding IV technicians (experience in IV preparation is a plus but not mandatory) Ensure accuracy in medication dispensing and adherence to safety protocols Maintain strong communication and reliability as part of the pharmacy team

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Licensed Pharmacy Technician required Experience in pharmacy technician roles is preferred but new licensed candidates with commitment to long-term employment are encouraged to apply Certification for IV sterile compounding is advantageous but not required for fulfillment tech positions Dependability and willingness to work scheduled shifts including weekends
