We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team.
Position Summary:
The Pharmacy Technician will work closely with the pharmacist and pharmacy team to provide accurate, efficient, and friendly service to our patients. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, professional, willing to learn and take initiative.
Responsibilities:
Assist pharmacists with prescription processing and filling Enter prescription and patient information accurately into the pharmacy system Prepare, package, and label medications under pharmacist supervision Communicate professionally with patients, healthcare providers, and pharmacy staff Answer phones and assist patients with questions and requests Assist with processing insurance claims and resolving billing issues Maintain accurate patient and prescription records Manage inventory, including receiving, stocking, and ordering medications and supplies Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant pharmacy environment Follow all pharmacy policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations Provide exceptional customer service and help create a welcoming experience for our patients Perform other pharmacy-related duties as assigned Maintain and organize front end of pharmacy
Qualifications:
Current Pharmacy Technician license (CPhT certification preferred) Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication and customer-service skills Ability to work effectively as part of a small team Dependable, organized, and professional Ability to maintain patient confidentiality Comfortable using pharmacy computer systems and technology
Pay:
From $19.00 per hour
