Schedule and Duration:

Night shift: 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM 5 on, 5 off schedule with 10-hour consecutive shifts Contract duration: 8 to 13 weeks

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and fill Pyxis automated dispensing cabinets efficiently Make IVs, IV piggybacks (IVPBs), and total parenteral nutrition (TPNs) Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally Deliver medications accurately to nursing units Utilize the Allscripts/Paragon order entry system to manage medication orders Collaborate with the pharmacy and nursing staff to ensure smooth operations during the night shift

Qualifications and Experience:

Proven inpatient pharmacy technician experience required Skilled in making IVs and handling IVPBs and TPNs Experience working with Pyxis automated dispensing cabinets Familiarity with Allscripts/Paragon order entry systems is essential Ability to work independently overnight while managing multiple responsibilities
