In this vital role, you will support pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, managing medication inventory, Your critical care experience and knowledge of medical terminology will ensure precise medication administration and adherence to aseptic techniques. Duties Assist pharmacists with medication preparation, ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Support patient intake procedures by accurately documenting medication histories and verifying prescriptions. Provide exceptional patient service by answering questions, explaining medication instructions, and ensuring understanding of treatment plans. Prepare medications for dispensing, including labeling, packaging, and documentation in line with medical terminology standards. Maintain meticulous records of medication administration, inventory logs, and incident reports to ensure regulatory compliance. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to facilitate smooth medication workflows within acute care or critical care settings. Experience Prior pharmacy technician experience strongly required Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to pharmacy practice and patient care. Experience supporting medication administration processes within acute or hospital care settings is highly desirable. Familiarity with pharmacy software systems for intake, inventory management, and documentation is preferred.
